Cov Kc Soc and It's Meet n Greeeeet! Haribol
There are over 25 Krishna Consciousness societies at universities all over the UK, many of which have been going for over 10 years! These dynamic societies run make spirituality fun, bring students closer, and help deepen their personal journey of life. Students experience, learn and understand ancient principles of the Vedas, and see how they can practically apply them in their student life and hopefully onwards!
Every Krishna Consciousness Society is open to everyone, reaching beyond the boundaries of cast, creed and colour, by establishing the science of the soul.
What do we DO?
Coventry University Krishna Consciousness Society or COV KC SOC is a society set up by students for students on how to help students with their student life through eastern philosophy and teachings from the Bhagavad Gita.
Weeky events are held every Tuesday evenings from 6 till 8pm in Meeting Room1 Priory Street SU (Next to Alan Berry Building). The Sessions involve discussions on various topics relevant to student life; e.g.
"Goal Settings, Time/ Self Management, The "L" Word; Love or Lust, How to Get a 1st....."
/free veggie food (every single session)/live jamming music sessions at least once a month/cooking workshops/ music workshops/socialising/jokes/drama/ skits/ annual 'Reflections of the Soul events joint by other societies such as Break Dancing Soc and Hindu Soc/ termly retreats to the Hare Krshna Manor in Watford joined by 5 other Universities in the Midlands/ annual retreat to Europe for 7 Days with other 150 university students
(*running out of breath* but) ..... FUN FUN FUN
Unfortunately, It's Not all free, BUT YOU Do get a Discount IF you are a MEMBER.
Memberships costs £4 which allows you to get FREEEEE Veggie Food once a week, every Tuesday Evening each term, a meditation kit, a mug, a small book, the Bagavan Gita and a KC Soc leaflet which has testimonials and explaination of KC Soc.... oh and best part, you get discounts on all our products and entry to our events meaning, items from Books to Aditional Mugs and Cds to retreats

Our Next event is our Meet and Greet, In the Old SU, Priory SU in Meeting Room 1 on Tuesday the 4th of October From 6 till 8 p.m (If you come late you won't get why people are so happy and laughing)
It's all free, just bring your material body and your open mind.
